"I had the utmost pleasure of meeting the owner of spotys deli on a most recent trip into DC with my boyfriend. The boyfriend has visited the establishment numerous times while working in the area. He would always rant rave about the food he has had. When you walk into the deli oh what a warm and inviting smell of home down family cooking greets you. I am impressed by the warmth and hospitality I was shown while visiting. But baby let me tell about the food my gawd the food. I had the lamb chops, baked mac&cheese, cabbage with honey when bread. Excited to eat I had began to eat in the car. Before long I was full from what I can only describe as magical ride of hands down home grown cooking. The picture doesn't even do it justice! My gawd. If anyone is ever in DC and just happen to find your way in the area of sportys deli please visit."

"I am a regular at Sporty's Deli. They have great food, that truly tastes like home cooking. I personally love their turkey bacon, french toast, steak and cheese, and Mac and cheese. Their prices are reasonable. They have AWESOME customer service! Personally I always feel like one of the family when I visit. Overall, I highly recommend this place"
